I really couldn’t think of a better way to start experimenting with all sorts of lenses than without any! Lensless photography or pinhole photography takes us way back to the very roots of capturing pictures, but it’s still a hot item today. For me, Stuutekeer is really the man with the plan when it comes to stunning results with “low-tech” ingredients.
Anyway, after checking how and where to put that fascinating hole, I was about ready for the start. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the guts to massacre my new camera’s bodycap, so I glued some kind of a strange creature together, basically with green, brown and yellow tape, a coffee-tin cap, a coke bottle, a black marker and… the indispensible needle. And off I went, in some area of New Belgrade. And oops, yes I forgot my tripod, but what, … some random stones did the trick. And you know what, all the eventual mistakes you make, you can all blame it on your prehistoric camera. Useful isn’t it? New Belgrade, shot from some kind of hill. Aren’t they beauties???
